Mike Pazik

Coach Pazik has been involved in professional baseball for more than 30 years. He was the #1 draft pick out of Holy Cross College by the New York Yankees in 1971. As a pitching coach, Mike has worked with notable pitchers such as Mike Mussina, James, Baldwin, Dan Pleasac, Curt Schilling, Arthur Rhodes, Alex Fernandes, Roberto Hernandez, Peter Harnisch, and Mike Sirotka.
Coach Pazik’s accomplishments include:
- #1 pick of the NY Yankees (1971);
- Major league pitcher, Minnesota Twins (1974-1977);
- Minor league manager and pitching coach (1980-1982);
- Pitching coordinator; Milwaukee Brewers (1983-1987); Baltimore Orioles (1989-1993);
- Major league advance scout, Chicago White Sox (1994);
- Major league pitching coach, Chicago White Sox (1995-1998);
- Special assignment scout and assistant to G.M., Chicago White Sox (1998-2000); and
- Major league advance scout, Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals.

Mike Toomey

Currently in his 25th year of professional baseball, Coach Toomey has served as field manager, coach, instructor, and international advance scout for the New York Mets. Mike is respected by his peers as an astute evaluator of talent and as an accomplished teacher. He began his coaching career at The George Washington University (GWU), leading the team to three NCAA Eastern Regional bids. He was elected to the GWU Hall of Fame in 1989. Mike also is a member of the Hall of Fame at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland.
Coach Toomey has worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Texas Rangers, and the New York Mets. In 1992, he was named Major League Baseball Scout of the Year.
